JIM FRIED

About

Jim Fried has called Laramie home for his entire adulthood, during which time he has become a dedicated and passionate member of our community. 

 

Professionally, Jim has made significant contributions to environmental conservation and community engagement. During his tenure at the Wyoming Conservation Corps within the University, Jim spearheaded numerous initiatives to build upon outdoor infrastructure, holding important meetings both in Washington, DC and across the state. His passion for public service started when he served with AmeriCorps and continues to shape his role in his current job.

Currently, Jim serves as the Medicine Bow-Routt Coordinator for the National Forest Foundation. In this role, he continues to demonstrate his commitment to conservation and the responsible management of our natural resources, ensuring that our forests remain healthy and vibrant for future generations.

In his personal time, Jim is deeply engaged in the Laramie community. From visiting the downtown shops, attending the many events that bring our community together, and connecting with nature, Jim is a familiar face, always ready to support local enterprises and celebrate our shared experiences.
